The Resource Area is a walled arena deep in the Wilderness, at levels 51 to 54, full of high-level skilling resources. It has eight runite rocks, magic and yew trees, fishing spots with dark crabs, anglerfish and sharks, a furnace and anvil for runite bars and the level 85 and 95 Thieving stalls. Most skills give double experience in the Wilderness, and several resources here can only be used in the Wilderness or in the donator skilling areas.
Entry costs 500 PK points, paid at the gate. Inside it is still the Wilderness: the area is single-way combat, other players can attack you, and you lose your items as usual when you die (see Items Kept on Death).
Getting there
- Max cape: the Max cape has a Resource Area teleport that takes you straight inside, at level 53 Wilderness. While you wear any Max cape, the gate also opens for free.
- Edgeville lever: pull the lever just south of
::home. It takes you to the Deserted Keep at level 51 Wilderness, a short walk west of the Resource Area. The gate is in the middle of the north wall.
Entry fee

- Mandrith stands outside the gate. Opening the gate from outside costs 500 PK points, which have to be in your inventory as PK point items. If you do not carry 500 PK points, you can pay 2,500 skilling points from your inventory instead.
- Entry is free while you wear a Max cape or while your clan has the Mandrith Briber clan perk.
- Leaving through the gate is always free. You cannot use the gate while you are frozen.
- Use Peek on the gate to see how many players are inside before you pay.
