Setups

These setups come from what players wear when they kill the Chaos Elemental. Each tab shows the gear most players use at that price, what it costs, and how long a kill usually takes with it. Prices are in PK points (PKP) as of October 2026, and spawnable items are free to spawn. Players use melee and ranged about equally. Its attacks can take off your gear and put it in your inventory, but only into free slots, so these setups fill all 28.

Typical solo kill: about 1 minute 10 seconds

• Everything here can be spawned for free.
• This is the most used free setup: over a hundred players kill it in spawnable gear with an Abyssal whip, a little faster than with a Rune crossbow.
• The Dragon dagger is for its special attack.

• The Webweaver bow has 50% more accuracy and max hit against monsters in the Wilderness.
• An Ursine chainmace with melee gear is just as fast, if you prefer melee.

Typical solo kill: about 15 seconds

• The Sanguine scythe of vitur gives the fastest kills. A Webweaver bow or Ursine chainmace with top gear takes about 25 seconds.
• The scythe is two-handed, so there is no shield.
• An Infernal cape has the same stats as the Infernal max cape.
