Potions

Potions raise your combat stats, restore drained stats and Prayer points, or protect you for a few minutes. Each potion holds four doses, and you drink one dose at a time. Most potions on Roat Pkz are free: you can spawn them, or take them from the Food and Potions shop at ::shops at no cost. Super combat, bastion, battlemage, stamina and anti-venom+ potions and all divine potions cost a few PK points instead. Every potion on this page can be traded.

PKP = PK points, SKP = skilling points. Prices are per dose; the shops sell 4-dose potions.
- Boosts are worked out from your base level, and the percentage is rounded down. At level 99, 15% adds 14, so a super potion boosts the level by 19.
- Boosts do not stack. Another dose only tops your level back up to the full boost.
- A boosted level drops by 1 every minute (every 90 seconds while the Preserve prayer is on). Divine potions hold their boost instead.
Divine potions
A divine potion gives exactly the same boost as its normal version, but the boost does not wear off over time. It stays at full strength for 5 minutes after your last dose of it, and then the boosted skills drop straight back to their normal level. Each dose deals 10 damage to you, and you cannot drink one with 10 Hitpoints or less. Another divine dose starts the 5 minutes again for the skills it boosts.

Prayer potion(1)
- Super restores, sanfew serums and prayer potions never raise a stat above its base level. Prayer points do not come back on their own over time, unlike your other stats.
- With a Prayer cape or the plain Max cape (worn or in your inventory), or an imbued Ring of the gods worn, these potions restore 2% more Prayer: 34 points from a super restore, 35 from a sanfew serum and 33 from a prayer potion at level 99.
- At level 99 a sanfew serum restores one level more than a super restore and also cures poison and venom.
- Each dose of Saradomin brew lowers Attack, Strength, Ranged and Magic again from where they are (99, then 88, then 78), so players drink a super restore or sanfew serum after a few doses.
- You can carry at most 12 Saradomin brews, of any dose, in the Wilderness and the donator PvP areas. Extra brews in your inventory are removed when you enter, and you cannot pick up a brew in the Wilderness while you already carry 12.

- Run energy only drains in the Wilderness, the donator PvP areas, Castle Wars and the Great Olm fight. Everywhere else it refills quickly on its own.
- Another stamina dose sets the timer back to 2 minutes; the time does not add up.
- A Guthix rest leaves an empty cup after its last dose.
Drinking potions
- You can drink one dose every 3 game ticks (1.8 seconds).
- Drinking a potion also stops you from eating normal food for 3 ticks, so eat first and drink second. A cooked karambwan or halibut can still be eaten straight after the potion (see Food).
- To combine doses, use a potion on another one of the same kind. The decanting crate at
::decantcombines every partly used potion in your inventory, noted ones too, into noted 4-dose potions.
