Dark beasts are beasts found in the deep Wilderness and in both Slayer caves. They come in combat level 182. Krystilia can assign them as a Slayer task once you have level 65 Slayer. You do not need a Slayer level to attack them; the level only matters for getting the task.

Slayer

• Task: Dark Beast, 70–200 kills, or 100–149 with the Need more darkness unlock. See Slayer tasks for the full list.
• Slayer level to get the task: 65
• Slayer experience per kill on task: 1,125 (before the Slayer XP boosts). Kills off task give no Slayer experience.
• Task teleports (with an enchanted gem): the Wilderness (level 49, single); the Slayer Cave (level 30, multi); the Divine Slayer Cave (level 37, multi; Divine Donator only).
• With the Bigger and Badder unlock, a Night beast can appear when you kill one on task. It is a superior version worth 32,310 Slayer experience.
