PvP Crates

Crates drop from PvP kills, and chests come from the Wilderness events. Check every crate's rewards and your own drop rates before you go out.

PvP crates are reward crates you get from PvP. A kill in a dangerous area can drop a Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum or Mythical Crate, and killing your Bounty Hunter target can also drop a Bounty Hunter Crate. The Diamond Crate and the event chests come from the HP events, Clan Warfare and the Wilderness events. Open a crate for one reward. The Crate & Chest Rewards window lists what every crate can give and what it's worth, and ::craterates shows your own chance of each crate dropping, which goes up with your donator rank.

Getting crates

Crate or chest	How you get it
Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum and Mythical Crates	A random drop from killing a player in a dangerous area. The crate drops with the rest of your opponent's loot.
Bounty Hunter Crates (tier 1 to 5)	A random drop from killing your Bounty Hunter target, on top of the normal crate roll.
Diamond Crate	Winning an HP event, or winning Clan Warfare (the winning clan's owner gets them).
Wilderness Chest	The Wilderness Chest event.
Gold Wilderness Chest	The Gold Wilderness Chest event.
Bloodlust Chest	The Bloodlust event.
Treasure Chest	The Treasure Hunt event.
1X and 2X crates and chests	Doubling a crate at a Crate Frenzy.

• While the Well of Goodwill's Double Wildy perk is active, every crate drop from a kill gives you two crates.
• Platinum and Mythical Crate drops, and Bounty Hunter Crate drops of tier 2 or higher, are announced in chat with where the kill happened.

Drop rates

Crates are a random drop from PvP kills. Your chance depends on the crate and on your donator rank. Type ::craterates to see your own rates: the scroll lists your rate for each PvP crate and each Bounty Hunter Crate, with your donator bonus already applied.

The ::craterates scroll on a Divine Donator account: Bronze 64%, Silver 12%, Gold 4% and Platinum 1.6%.

Your Personal PvP Crate Drop Rates: your chance for each of the five PvP crates.
Your Personal BH Crate Rates: your chance for each Bounty Hunter Crate. These only drop from Bounty Hunter target kills.
Extra Donator Rank Rates: the bonus for each donator rank, with yours marked.
Below that, a reminder that PvP hotspots double your rates, and where the Diamond Crate and the event chests come from.

The table shows every crate drop rate for each donator rank. The rank's bonus multiplies the base rate (the No rank column).

In game, rates are rounded to three decimal places.

Worked example: the Platinum Crate's base rate is 1%. A Legendary Donator gets +40%, so their rate is 1% × 1.4 = 1.4%. In the Wilderness Hotspot that doubles to 2.8%.

PvP hotspots

While you're in the Wilderness Hotspot, all of your crate drop rates are doubled, on top of your donator bonus. A Gold Crate's 2.5% becomes 5% with no rank, or 8% for a Divine Donator. Use ::hotspot to teleport to the current hotspot. The hotspot moves every 30 minutes.

The list on the left holds every crate and chest. Click one to see its rewards.
The rewards on the right are sorted from most to least valuable. The number under each reward is its value in PKP, and a small number in the corner is how many you get.
AVG is the crate's average reward value. MIN and MAX are the values of its cheapest and most valuable rewards.
RATE is your own chance of the crate dropping. Only crates that drop from kills show it.
View Crate Rates! opens your crate drop rates.

The list shows the Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, Mythical and Diamond Crates, the Wilderness, Gold Wilderness, Bloodlust and Treasure Chests, and the five Bounty Hunter Crates.

The AVG is the value the window shows. For every reward of a crate and its current value, open it in Crate & Chest Rewards.

Opening a crate

Click a crate in your inventory to open it. A pop-up shows the crate, your reward and its PKP value, and a chat message tells you the same. Rewards count towards your Collection log.

• You need a free inventory slot for your reward, or two for a 2X crate. If it's your last crate of that kind, its own slot counts.
• Everyone online sees a message when someone opens a Diamond or Mythical Crate or any of the four event chests. Gold and Platinum Crates and Bounty Hunter Crates are only announced when the reward is valuable.
• Unlike mystery boxes, crates can be opened in the Wilderness, as long as you're not under attack.

2X crates

Doubling a crate or chest at a Crate Frenzy turns it into a 1X or a 2X version, for example  Bronze Crate (1X) or  Bronze Crate (2X). Both show the same rewards as the normal crate, but a 2X crate gives you twice the amount of whatever you win. 1X and 2X crates are always lost when you die.

Where you can't open a crate

Situation	What happens
Under attack in the Wilderness or another PvP area	You can not open a crate while under attack in the wilderness.
During a Crate Frenzy, in the PvP area around it	You can not open a crate during a Crate Frenzy!
While you're carrying the chest in a Wilderness Chest or Gold Wilderness Chest event	You can't open a crate during a wilderness chest event.
During a minigame	You can not open a crate during a mini-game.
During a duel, a trade or a gamble	The crate doesn't open.
Without enough free inventory space	The crate stays closed until you make room.

Chests use the same rules, and the messages say chest instead of crate.

Tips

• Get a donator rank and fight in the Wilderness Hotspot to stack both crate bonuses.
• Right-click a crate › View Rewards to jump straight to that crate in Crate & Chest Rewards.
• Crates and chests are tradeable, so you can sell the ones you don't want to open.
• Examine an item to see in chat which crates it can come from.
• For mystery boxes and other reward crates, such as the Monster Crate or the Slayer Crate, see Mystery boxes.
