Kill count
Every monster and boss you've killed, with your total kills, your fastest kill and a streak you can reset.
Monster Kill Counts
::npckills::killcount

Your kill counts record how many times you've killed each tracked monster and boss. The Monster Kill Counts window lists 112 of them, with your best time, your total kills and a streak counter you can reset whenever you like. The same kill counts appear in your Collection log, and you need them to unlock the Tztok, Vampyric and Tzkal slayer helmets.

Best times

Your Best Time is your fastest kill of that monster. For most monsters a kill only sets a new best time if you dealt at least 80% of the monster's hitpoints in damage. If you beat your time without doing that much, the chat says 80%+ damage needed for best time and your old time stays. When a kill does count, the chat marks it as a New Personal Best.

Kill count messages

After a kill the chat shows Your … kill count is: with your new total and how long the kill took. You see it:

  • after every kill of a monster with more than 150 hitpoints;
  • after every 10th kill of smaller monsters;
  • whenever you beat your best time.

Battle mage kills show your Mage Arena Points together with your kill count.

Resetting a streak

Click the arrow at the end of a row and confirm Reset Kill Streak for …?. The streak goes back to 0, and your total kills and best time stay as they were. You can only reset a streak that is above 0.

Use the streak as your own counter: reset it when you get a drop to count your kills since, or at the start of a trip to count that trip's kills.
