Drop rate bonus
Your drop rate bonus makes monster drops more common. Each bonus takes a percentage off a drop's rate: a 45% bonus turns a 1/1,000 drop into 1/550. Bonuses come from your donator rank, the Monster Slayer clan perk, a Collector's ring, being skulled in the right places, and voting. The Your PvM Drop Bonus window adds it all up for you.

Bonus sources
Donator rank
Every donator rank has its own drop rate bonus:
| Rank | Donator | Super | Extreme | Legendary | Royal | Divine |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Drop rate bonus | 15% | 25% | 30% | 35% | 40% | 45% |
| 1/1,000 becomes | 1/850 | 1/750 | 1/700 | 1/650 | 1/600 | 1/550 |
Other bonuses
| Bonus | Amount | How you get it |
|---|---|---|
| Monster Slayer clan perk | 10% | While the perk is active in your clan. |
| Sapphire collector's ring | 3% | Wear it or carry it in your inventory. |
| Enchanted collector's ring | 6% | Wear it or carry it in your inventory. If you have both rings, only this one counts. |
| Skulled | 20% | Only in certain places. See where your skull counts. |
| Voting | 20% | Every vote you claim adds 20 minutes. The time stacks, and it only runs down while you're logged in. |
Where your skull counts
Being skulled gives a 20% bonus, but only in these places:
| Where | Which monsters |
|---|---|
| Revenant Caves | Revenants |
| Wilderness | Wilderness bosses (listed below) |
| The top floor of the Royal Castle, in the Royal Donator Zone | Any monster |
| The Divine Cave, also called the Divine Monster Dungeon | Any monster |
Anywhere else, your skull doesn't change your drop rate. You can skull yourself with ::skull; the skull lasts 20 minutes.
The Wilderness bosses are:
The window only shows a skull line while you're in one of these places. In the Wilderness, it appears once you've killed a Wilderness boss.
How the bonuses stack
Each bonus applies to the rate left over by the ones before it, so they multiply. Here is a Divine Donator with the Monster Slayer perk, an Enchanted collector's ring and a vote bonus, looking at a 1/1,000 drop:
| Step | Bonus | Rate after |
|---|---|---|
| Base rate | – | 1/1,000 |
| Divine Donator | 45% | 1/550 |
| Monster Slayer perk | 10% | 1/495 |
| Enchanted collector's ring | 6% | 1/465 |
| Voting bonus | 20% | 1/372 |
| Total | 62.8% | 1/372 |
Added up, those bonuses would make 81%. Because they multiply, the total is 62.8%. Being skulled against a Wilderness boss on top of that makes it 1/297, a 70.2% bonus. That's the most you can get.
The bonus works the same way on every monster drop, and pets and clue scrolls get it too. With a 45% bonus, a 1/10,240 drop becomes 1/5,632.
Raids
Raid rewards don't use your drop rate bonus. Instead, these raise your chance of a purple, the rare reward, in Chambers of Xeric and Theatre of Blood:
| Source | Extra purple chance |
|---|---|
| Donator rank | Donator +10%, Super +20%, Extreme +30%, Legendary +40%, Royal +50%, Divine +60% |
| CoX Challenge Mode or ToB Hard Mode | +10% |
| Collector's ring | Sapphire +3%, Enchanted +6% |
| My Chamber scroll | +15% |
These add together: a Divine Donator with an Enchanted collector's ring in Hard Mode gets +76%. The Monster Slayer perk, your skull and your voting bonus don't affect raid rewards.
Scrolls
Two one-hour scrolls also make some drops more common. They stack with your drop rate bonus:
- Pet Collector: pet drops are 10% more common.
- Treasure Seeker: clue scroll drops are 5 times as common.
Drop rate calculator
Pick an item or type a base rate, then choose your bonuses. The calculator works out your rate step by step, the same way the game does.
Good to know
- The window's 1/1,000 is only an example. Your real chance of any drop is its base rate with the same bonus applied, and the Drop tables show those rates when My Rates is ticked.
- The Drop tables' My Rates leaves out the skull bonus, because it depends on where you're fighting.
- A Collector's ring works from your inventory, so you can still wear another ring.
- Larran's keys always drop at their normal rate. Your bonus doesn't change them.
- Open the window where you're fighting to see your real total there, skull line included.
