The Divine Demonic Gorilla is a Divine version of the Demonic gorilla. Six of them live in the Divine Monster Dungeon, a PvP cave that only Divine Donators can use. They fight exactly like normal Demonic gorillas, but they have their own drop table with the Divine relics, ballistas, zenyte jewellery and the Pet Divine Demonic Gorilla.
Each gorilla respawns 36 seconds after it dies.
Getting there
- Type ::divinepvm in game (also ::divine-pvm, ::divinecave or ::divine-cave), or open the Teleport interface and choose Divine Monster Dungeon.
- You arrive next to a strange hole. Click it and confirm the warning ("This hole leads to a PvP Zone, enter?") to climb down into the cave.
- To leave, climb the rope near where you enter the cave.
- You need the Divine Donator rank to move around in the cave. Players without it are teleported out.

Fighting a Divine Demonic gorilla in the Divine PvM Cave
Fight overview
- The gorilla uses melee, ranged and magic attacks, each with a max hit of 31. It attacks every 3.6 seconds.
- It changes attack style when its attacks miss. Every time three of its attacks deal 0 damage, it switches to a different random style. Watch its animation and switch your protection prayer to match.
- If it cannot reach you for 12 attacks in a row, it switches to ranged.
- It uses protection prayers. Every time it has taken 50 damage, it starts praying against the combat style of the last hit it took. Its prayer blocks all damage from that style, so bring at least two combat styles and switch when it changes prayer.
- Boulder special attack: On about 1 in 12 attacks, it throws a boulder at the tile you are standing on. The boulder lands about 4 seconds later. If you are still on that exact tile, you take damage equal to a third of your current Hitpoints. Move one tile to dodge it.
- Monsters in the Divine Monster Dungeon do not attack you on sight, so the fight only starts when you attack it.
- Inside the Divine Monster Dungeon, all players get 10% extra accuracy against monsters, and melee and ranged attacks also get a 10% higher max hit.
Kill count and Slayer
- Divine Demonic Gorilla kills have their own kill count and their own Collection log entry. They also count towards the daily Demonic Gorilla kills hiscore.
- Kills count towards Demonic gorilla and Black demon Slayer tasks and give 410 Slayer experience.
- It can drop clue scrolls of every tier, including elite and master.
Setups
Warning: The Divine Monster Dungeon is a PvP zone. Other players of any combat level can attack you there, and you lose items when you die. Do not bring items you are not willing to lose. Type ::divinerules to read the PvP rules for the Divine zones.
These setups come from what players wear when they kill the Divine Demonic Gorilla. Each tab shows the gear most players use at that price, what it costs, and how long a solo kill usually takes with it. Prices are in PK points (PKP) at today's in-game prices, and spawnable items are free to spawn. Almost everyone fights it in mid or max gear.
Typical solo kill: too few kills in this gear to measure
- Very few players fight the Divine version in gear this cheap. This is the setup that works on the normal version, so expect slower kills.
- Everything here can be spawned for free.

- The holy scythe is two-handed, so there is no shield.
- An Infernal cape has the same stats as the Infernal max cape.
Drops
Note: You will receive a hidden 20% drop boost if you're skulled while killing Divine Demonic Gorilla!
Each kill gives one roll on the table below. Pets are rolled separately, so you can get the pet and an item from the same kill. The rarest drops are checked first, and the first one you hit is your drop. If you do not hit any of them, you get the Dragon javelin common drop. Being skulled in the Divine Monster Dungeon gives a 20% better drop rate. Every kill also drops Ashes.
